Beth Hughes, Broker and Proprietor

Arizona Ranch Connection is owned and operated by Arizona native, Beth Hughes. Born in Tombstone, AZ, Beth has made a life and home in nearby Sonoita. She has been in the business of real estate for 11 years, the first ten of which she worked with her father, Bob Watkins. Bob was the proud owner and operator of Sierra Vista Realty of Arizona for 53 years. Beth has taken the business to next level by combining her love for ranching with the business savvy inherited by her father. Beth studied Animal Sciences in college at New Mexico State University, however eventually graduating with a degree in Education. She continued her love for animals while teaching both locally in Sonoita and for Cochise Community College where she was also the head of the Agricultural program. Beth has remained active in the 4H club and in her community with all events surrounding the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds.  She spends much of her spare time volunteering, training, roping and ranching. “Picking up my father’s legacy and combining it with my love and knowledge of ranching seemed like a natural move..”, Beth says.

Beth is the proud mother of two, Megan Thomas and Clancy Wilkerson and stepmother to Lindsey Crockett and Jake Hughes. Her and her husband, Mike, are no strangers to hard work which is something they have successfully instilled in all four of their successful children.

In addition, Beth gained her Broker’s License in 2013. Whether it is ranch land, residential, or commercial property you are looking for, Beth and her team at Arizona Ranch Connection will be ready and able to assist you. The partnership of Beth and her agents with Sierra Vista Realty brings to the table nine agents total, all of whose expertise vary to provide you with the most well rounded and knowledgeable team in the market. Palma at Arizona Ranch Connection
Palma, Arizona Ranch Connection Realtor

Palma Hudson, also an Arizona native, was born on a chicken ranch in South Phoenix. Real estate led her father and family to Costa Rica in 1972. Palma lived remotely on the Pacific coast for five years where she attended parochial school and learned to speak Spanish fluently; a great asset for living and working in southern Arizona. Years later, Palma went on to Eastern Arizona College, then on to the University of Arizona where she met and married her husband, Guy, in 1985. Her and her husband have lived on many ranches from southern Arizona onto northern California and back again. During all the moving around we raised two sons, Guy and Talbott.  In 1999, she accomplished her Masters in Education from Western New Mexico in Silver City. After nearly 20 years teaching, for the last 11 years she has been the head teacher at Apache Elementary School, in Apache, AZ .

In 2003, she went back to school once again for her real estate license. She recently joined the Sierra Vista Realty/AZ Ranch Connection group in hopes of continuing to sell land and ranches and learn more about commercial and residential sales.

Palma is an active church member in her community having served as a deacon for many years as well as leading Sunday school and volunteering with VBS. In addition, she sat on the Community Advisory Board for Cochise County Juvenile Courts for many years. Palma is a proud member of PEO, a woman’s philanthropic organization that promotes/supports the advancement of women in education.  She spends much of her spare time with her husband, their boys and their wives, and their five grandchildren. Oh, and walking…. she walks all over their ranch as often as she can. She looks forward to the opportunity to work with Beth and Mike Hughes and the rest of the team at Sierra Vista Realty. And the notion is returned, as we see Palma as a great asset to our company with her giving personality and vast life experience.
